Today,there were 2 matches played between the levels of the faculty. The Fixtures for today were
200Lvl Vs 400Lvl 5pm
300Lvl Vs 500Lvl 6pm.
The matches were played at the School Of Nursing Football pitch.
From the first match (200Lvl VS 400Lvl)
The game started at about 5;15pm with the kick off by 200Lvl. The game started well though so many chances were lost,The 200Lvl had more possession of the ball in the first half of the match.
The First half of the match ended goalless.
Into the second half,more goal attempts were made by both teams. around the middle of the second half, there was a good assist from Itodo(200Lvl ) from the left corner of the pitch and Adenrele(200Lvl) had a nod on the ball hitting the bar,there was a rebound by him and the ball dropped into the goalnet which brought a 1-nil lead in favour of the 200Lvl Team.
The match ended and the 200Lvl grabbed 3points in the opening match, what a good way to start.
The second match started in earnest. It was between the 300Lvl and the 500Lvl.
The present 500Lvl are the defending champions,they won the PANS Cup when in 400Lvl Last year.
The match started about 6;30pm. The first half was full of so many chances from both teams but it was observed that the 500Lvl team had more chances. The first half ended goalless.
The second half continued and about 15mins in to the second half,there was a foul and a free-kick was awarded to the 500Lvl team. This was very close to the goalpost. The free-kick was a direct free-kick taken by Sula of 500Lvl and dropped into the goalpost. This brought a 1-nil lead for the 500Lvl,
About five minutes later,there was another goal by Anvil(500Lvl) shirt numb. 11 which brought a 2-nil lead for the 500Lvl team. Towards the end of the game,there was a one-on-one goal by Oluomo(500Lvl) and the score was 3-0. Close to the final whistle,there was a goal by Ehis for the 300Lvl team to make the final score 3-1.

200Level 1 - 0 400Level
300Level 1 - 3 500Level.
